LETTING GO
Changes and endings bring regular challenges in our daily lives inviting us to move on from the past with all its memories, holdings and attachments. Life does not wait for our consent or concurrence before they are forced on us. Holding on causes suffering, letting go is freedom. Instead of fighting the inevitable, we can willingly join the flow by letting go, which is the very essence of spirituality.
The reflections of today and the meditations focus on the need and the benefits of letting go.

HEALING LIFE’S HURTS

All of us have experienced hurts and wounds along life’s journey. Their effects can remain with us, often for many years, affecting the way we feel, live and relate to others. We would wish to be free of them but may not know how.
The reflections and meditation of this evening focus on letting go of hurts so that we experience peace in our hearts and clear the obstacles in our relationships.

FORGIVING MINDFULLY

Hurts feelings and resentments are common experiences in our daily life. We are wounded and, sometimes knowingly and often unknowingly, we wound others, too. Forgiveness is a gift that heals both the one who forgives and the one who receives it.
We may want to forgive but we often struggle with it and may not know how.
This talk and meditation offers an Awareness-based approach to forgiveness that works.

MEDITATION: AN INVITATION TO WAKE UP
In the midst of life’s stress and turmoil we look for peace and quiet. We seek stillness in our daily living with all its demands and distractions. Meditation can take us to the wilderness where we encounter our demons as well as meet our angels. Learning to meditate and become more aware can offer us a time of renewal and peace we so long for.

MINDFULNESS: THE EXPERIENCE OF PRESENCE
Being really present in life is a major challenge for all of us. We tend to time travel to the past and future, or to reside in our own little worlds. Learning to live in the present enables us to experience our lives more fully and to open ourselves to the presence of the Sacred.
So come to an evening of inspiration and meditation on –
• How to be present in our bodies
• How to learn to live in the moment
• How to find the blessing of our presence
